These conditions are usually related to installation, water-flow direction, connector configuration, display installation, or battery status rather than product defects.
Condition 1: FLOW MODE does not show real-time water flow
Possible Cause
The removable display may not be fully installed into the flow meter body.
What to Do
- Check the display position.
- Push the display securely into the flow meter body.
- Start the water flow again.
- Return to FLOW MODE and check the reading.
Condition 2: Water measurement appears inaccurate
What to Check
- Make sure the display is installed correctly.
- Make sure the display is firmly seated in the meter body.
- Check the water-flow direction.
- Check all connections for leaks.
- Make sure the internal water path is fully filled with water during measurement.
Incorrect installation conditions may affect measurement accuracy.
Condition 3: Water leaks from the connection
Possible Cause
The fittings may be installed in the wrong position or matched with the wrong thread type.
What to Do
- Check the accessory order.
- Confirm that USA and EU fittings have not been mixed.
- Use the correct thread configuration.
- Reinstall the device in the original pre-assembled order.
Condition 4: The display turns off by itself
This may be normal.
The ICS006 includes an energy-saving standby function.
If there is no water flow and no button operation for more than approximately 1 minute, the display automatically turns off.
Water flow or button operation will reactivate the device.
Condition 5: The measurement data needs to be cleared
CONSUMPTION MODE
Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds to reset the current consumption value.
AVG MODE
Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds to reset the average value.
TOTAL MODE
Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds to reset the total value.
Condition 6: The unit cannot be changed
GAL / L switching is performed from: FLOW MODE
What to Do
- Switch to FLOW MODE.
- Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds.
- Switch between gallons and liters.
Condition 7: Low-battery icon appears
Replace the CR2032 battery.
Use the battery type specified for the ICS006.
