How to Identify Your ICS006 Water Flow Meter
You can identify your ICS006 Water Flow Meter by checking the model name on the product label and the installed faucet adapter/thread configuration. No disassembly or tools are required.
Does the Version Affect Usage?
The USA and EU configurations use the same:
- FLOW MODE
- CONSUMPTION MODE
- AVG MODE
- TOTAL MODE
- GAL / L switching
- Reset functions
- CR2032 battery
- Measurement range
- Measurement tolerance
The difference is the thread standard used to connect the flow meter to the watering system.
Installation Note
Do not change the fitting sequence simply because the outer connectors look similar.
The manual specifically notes that:
- Fittings 2, 3, and 4 are an integrated assembly and should not be separated.
- Fittings 1 and 4 use different thread standards.
- Fittings 2 and 5 use different thread standards.
- The correct installation sequence should be maintained.
Always follow the water-flow direction shown in the installation diagram.
