These situations are often related to soil moisture, humidity, lighting, or setup conditions rather than the tray itself.
Condition 1: The soil dries out quickly
Possible Conditions
- The humidity dome is not properly closed.
- The growing medium needs additional moisture.
What to Do
- Check that the humidity dome is correctly positioned.
- Add water as needed.
- Keep the soil consistently and slightly moist.
Condition 2: The soil is too wet
Possible Condition
Too much water has been added.
What to Do
- Reduce watering.
- Allow excess moisture to decrease before watering again.
- Keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging.
The manual specifically recommends maintaining slightly moist soil while avoiding waterlogging.
Condition 3: Seedlings need more light
Consistent lighting is important for healthy seedling growth.
