If your product is labeled YMH1001 or YMH1002, you are in the correct place.

What are the YMH1001 and YMH1002?

The RAINPOINT YMH1001 and YMH1002 Seed Starter Trays are reusable seed-starting systems designed to support seed germination and early seedling growth.

Both versions include a humidity dome, seed tray, base tray, labels, and garden tools.

Before You Start

1. Confirm your model

Check whether your product is:

YMH1001 – Lights Version or YMH1002 – Non-light Version

The growing process is generally the same, but the lighting-related instructions apply only to YMH1001.

2. Prepare suitable growing medium

Add soil evenly into each seed cell.

Avoid compacting the soil excessively.

3. Sow the seeds

Place the seeds into the prepared cells and lightly cover them with soil.

Follow the planting depth recommended for the specific seed variety.

4. Label the seed varieties

Use the included labels to identify different seed types.

This is especially useful when multiple plant varieties are started in the same tray.

5. Keep the soil slightly moist

Water the growing medium as needed.

Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogging.

6. Install the humidity dome

Close the humidity dome to help maintain temperature and humidity during germination.

7. Add lighting after germination

For YMH1001 only, use the grow lamp once the seeds have germinated.

Consistent lighting is important for healthy seedling growth.

For YMH1002, provide an appropriate external light source according to the needs of the plants.

8. Transplant when seedlings are ready

When seedlings are established and ready for transplanting, gently push upward from the silicone bottom of each cell.

This helps release the root ball with less disturbance to the roots.
