The RAINPOINT Seed Starter Tray series covered on this page includes two models:
- YMH1001 – Lights Version
- YMH1002 – Non-light Version
Both versions use the same basic seed-starting system, but the included lighting components are different.
YMH1001 / YMH1002 Version Overview

Both versions include the humidity dome, seed tray, base tray, labels, and garden tools.
How to Identify Your Version
You can identify your YMH1001 / YMH1002 Seed Starter Tray by checking the model number on the product label and whether a Plant Grow Lamp is installed on the top of the humidity dome. No disassembly or tools are required.
Does the Version Affect Usage?
The basic seed-starting process is the same for both versions:
- Fill the cells with soil.
- Sow the seeds.
- Label the seed varieties.
- Keep the soil moist.
- Install the humidity dome.
- Provide appropriate lighting after germination.
- Transplant when the seedlings are ready.
The main difference is how lighting is provided.
YMH1001 – Lights Version
The included Plant Grow Lamp can be used after germination.
YMH1002 – Non-light Version
The product does not include a grow lamp. Provide suitable natural light or a separate external light source when needed.
Installation Note
The Plant Grow Lamp and USB-to-Type-C cable are included only with YMH1001.
If the product label shows YMH1002, the absence of these components is normal and does not mean accessories are missing.
