Q1. What measurement modes are available?

A. The ICS049 provides four modes: FLOW RATE, LAST, TOTAL 1, and TOTAL 2.

Q2. What does FLOW RATE show?

A. FLOW RATE displays the current real-time water flow in GAL/Min or L/Min.

Q3. What does LAST show?

A. LAST displays the most recently recorded water consumption. A new LAST record begins after water has been off for more than 30 seconds.

Q4. What is the difference between TOTAL 1 and TOTAL 2?

A. TOTAL 1 and TOTAL 2 are two independent accumulated water-usage records. They can be used to track different periods or watering purposes.

Q5. How do I clear TOTAL 1 or TOTAL 2?

A. Open the desired TOTAL page and press and hold the MENU button for approximately 2 seconds. Only the currently displayed TOTAL record is cleared.

Q6. Can TOTAL 1 and TOTAL 2 be cleared separately?

A. Yes. Clearing TOTAL 1 does not affect TOTAL 2, and vice versa.

Q7. How do I switch between gallons and liters?

A. Go to FLOW RATE and press and hold MENU. The device switches between GAL/Min + GAL and L/Min + L.

Q8. How do I change the water-flow direction?

A. Go to FLOW RATE and press and hold the Direction Button. Select A→B or A←B.

Q9. How do I flip the screen?

A. On any display page, briefly press the Direction Button. This flips the display orientation for easier reading.

Q10. Does Screen Flip change the measurement direction?

A. No. Screen Flip only changes the visual orientation of the LCD. Flow Direction Switching is a separate function.

Q11. What battery does the ICS049 use?

A. The ICS049 uses 1 × CR2032 button cell battery.

Q12. Is the battery included?

A. Yes. The product is supplied with the battery installed and an isolation tab in place.

Q13. Does the ICS049 require an app?

A. No. The current manual does not describe app operation.

Q14. Does the ICS049 require Wi-Fi or a Gateway?

A. No.

Q15. What is the measurement tolerance?

A. The specified measurement tolerance is ±5%.
