What Is the HTV107B

The HTV107B is a 1-zone smart water timer designed for automatic outdoor watering. When paired with the HWG009BW Wi-Fi Gateway, watering schedules and other timer functions can be managed through the RainPoint Home App. 


What Is the HWG009BW Wi-Fi Gateway

The HWG009BW connects the watering system to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and allows the HTV107B to be added to the RainPoint Smart+ App through the Gateway. During setup, the Gateway is connected first, followed by the HTV107B as the connected water timer.

Before You Start

Before setup, prepare:

  • HTV107B Water Timer
  • HWG009BW Wi-Fi Gateway
  • 4 new AA alkaline batteries
  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
  • Mobile device with the RainPoint Home App
  • Compatible outdoor faucet
  • Garden hose or watering system

The HTV107B requires 4 AA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, and make sure the batteries are installed with the correct polarity.

Connect the HWG009BW Wi-Fi Gateway in the RainPoint Home App first, then add the HTV107B Water Timer through the Gateway. The Gateway supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for connection.

Before normal use, install the inlet filter correctly and test the timer valve to confirm that it opens and closes properly.
