RAINPOINT ITV152 | 1-Zone – Overview & Getting Started

This article introduces the RAINPOINT ITV152 Single-way Dual Knob Water Timer and covers the essential information for getting started. If the model number on the device is ITV152, this guide applies to this timer.

What Is the ITV152

The ITV152 is a single-zone dual-knob water timer designed for automatic outdoor watering. It controls one watering line and uses two separate dials to set the watering duration and watering frequency, making schedule adjustments simple and direct.

The timer operates directly from its built-in controls and does not require Wi-Fi, an app, or a gateway.

Key Capabilities

The ITV152 supports the following watering functions:

  • Automatic watering with independently adjustable frequency and duration
  • Watering frequency from every 1 hour to every 72 hours, or once per week
  • Watering duration from 1 minute to 120 minutes
  • One-time watering using the ONE/OFF frequency setting
  • Manual watering without changing the programmed settings

The dual-knob design allows watering frequency and duration to be adjusted directly without navigating through menus or display settings.

Before You Start

Before installing the timer, please prepare:

  • A compatible 3/4" garden faucet (NH version for the US; BSP version supports 3/4" or 1" faucets)
  • A clean, cold-water supply
  • A standard 3/4" garden hose
  • 2 new AAA (1.5V) alkaline batteries

Do not mix old and new batteries or use carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries. Make sure the inlet filter is installed correctly and the battery compartment cover is fully sealed before use.

Before first use, or after a period of inactivity, activate the timer valve to make sure it opens and closes properly.
