Before You Start
1. Install the solar panel in a sunny location
Place the solar panel where it can receive direct sunlight with minimal shading.
Adjust the solar panel angle using the supplied bracket and make sure the bracket is securely installed.
2. Connect the solar charger
Connect the solar panel cable to the Solar Charging Port on the IK15P.
The green charging indicator remains on while solar charging is active.
3. Position the pump correctly
For normal installation, it is best to place the pump above the water level of the reservoir.
This helps reduce the risk of siphoning and unintended water flow.
4. Install the water level detector
Connect the water level detector to the Water Detector Port.
Place the detector and inlet filter inside the water container.
The water level detector should be positioned higher than the filter, with both hanging vertically downward.
5. Install the filter and inlet tubing
Connect the tubing to the water inlet and place the filter at the other end inside the reservoir.
6. Install the anti-siphon valve
Install the anti-siphon valve on the outlet tubing.
Make sure it follows the indicated water-flow direction.
7. Build the drip irrigation layout
Use the supplied:
- T-barb connectors
- Straight connectors
- Cross connectors
- Switch valves
- Micro drippers
- Sealing ends
to create the required watering layout.
8. Set the watering schedule
Set the IK15P in this order:
SET CLOCK → START TIME → HOW LONG → HOW OFTEN → ON
9. Test the system
Before leaving the system to operate automatically:
- Check that water reaches the drippers.
- Check the tubing connections.
- Confirm the water detector is correctly positioned.
- Confirm the solar panel is charging.
