RAINPOINT IK153 – Maintenance & Care

Cleaning the Filter

The filter prevents impurities from entering the pump.

Maintenance steps:

  1. Remove the filter from the water container.
  2. Rinse with clean water.
  3. Remove debris.
  4. Reinstall the filter.
  5. Confirm water flow.

Charging Care

The IK153 uses: Type-C, 5V/1A charging

Tips:

  • Recharge when battery level is low.
  • Avoid storing the device completely discharged.
  • Keep charging port clean and dry.

Winter Storage

Operating temperature: 3°C–50°C (37°F–122°F)

Before storage:

  1. Stop watering.
  2. Remove remaining water.
  3. Clean filter.
  4. Disconnect tubing.
  5. Store in a dry location.

Long-Term Storage

Before reuse:

  • Check tubing.
  • Clean filter.
  • Charge device.
  • Test manual watering.
  • Restore schedule settings.

General Care Tips

Check water supply

Low water may trigger Water Shortage Alert.

Maintain tubing connections

Loose connections may cause leakage.

Avoid excessive height difference

Keep within: 2.5 m (8.2 ft)

Use anti-siphon valve correctly

Incorrect installation may cause backflow.

Check Cycle & Soak settings

Longer watering duration may activate Cycle & Soak.
