RAINPOINT 20026-2 – Installation & Use

This article explains how to connect and operate the RAINPOINT 20026-2 9-Pattern Watering Wand.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Check the Hose Connection

Before installation:

  • Make sure the garden hose connector is clean.
  • Check that the built-in rubber washer is correctly positioned.
  • Confirm that the hose uses a compatible 3/4" connection.

Step 2: Connect the Watering Wand

Screw the garden hose onto the threaded inlet of the watering wand.

Tighten the connection securely by hand.

The manual describes this as a simple screw-on connection between the garden hose and watering wand.

Step 3: Check for Leakage

Turn on the faucet and inspect the connection between the garden hose and watering wand.

If the connection leaks:

  1. Turn off the water.
  2. Disconnect the hose.
  3. Check the existing rubber washer.
  4. Add an additional rubber washer if necessary.
  5. Reconnect the hose securely.
  6. Turn the water back on and check again.

The manual states that two rubber washers may be used together when additional sealing is required.

Step 4: Select a Spray Pattern

Rotate the spray head to choose one of the nine available modes:

  • ANGLE
  • FLAT
  • FLOOD
  • MIST
  • JET
  • CENTRE
  • FAN
  • CONE
  • SHOWER

Rotate the spray head fully into the desired position.

Step 5: Use the ON/OFF Switch

The handle includes a water-control switch.

Move the switch to:

ON – Allow water to flow through the wand.

OFF – Stop the water flow at the wand.

The current manual shows the switch as an ON/OFF control and does not specify variable flow adjustment, so Zendesk should not describe it as a continuous flow-control dial.

Before Regular Use

Check that:

  • The garden hose is securely connected.
  • The rubber washer is installed.
  • There is no visible leakage.
  • The spray head is in the selected position.
  • The ON/OFF switch operates normally.
  • The wand is not visibly damaged.
  • Water pressure does not exceed 80 PSI / 5.5 bar.
