RAINPOINT 1091 – Common Issues, Care & Safety

If the RAINPOINT 1091 does not operate as expected, the following checks cover the common conditions described in the user manual.


Condition 1: Water leaks between the nozzle and garden hose

Possible Cause

The connection may be loose or incompletely sealed.

What to Do

  1. Turn off the water.
  2. Disconnect the hose from the nozzle.
  3. Check the existing rubber washer.
  4. Add an additional rubber washer if necessary.
  5. Reconnect the hose.
  6. Tighten the connection securely.
  7. Turn the water back on and check again.

The manual allows two rubber washers to be used together when additional sealing is required.


Condition 2: Water leaks around the spray head

Possible Causes

  • The Phillips screw may be loose.
  • The spray head may not be fully rotated into the locked spray position.

What to Do

Check the Phillips Screw

Tighten it using a Phillips screwdriver.

Check the Spray Head

Rotate the spray head until it reaches the selected spray position and you hear a: “click”

This indicates that the spray head has reached the locked position.

  3. Store the nozzle indoors.

This helps reduce the risk of temperature-related damage.
