This article explains how to assemble, connect, adjust, and operate the RAINPOINT JS-DIS101 Drip Irrigation System.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Cut the Tubing
Use the included tube cutter to cut the hose to the required length.
Plan the irrigation layout before cutting so each watering point can be positioned where needed.
Step 2: Install the Shower Head
Insert the shower head into the three-way socket.
Push it firmly into the socket.
Step 3: Connect the Tubing
Insert the tubing into both horizontal ends of the three-way socket.
Push the tubing completely into the connector.
Step 4: Install the End Plug
Insert the end plug into the final three-way socket in the irrigation system.
This closes the end of the tubing network.
Step 5: Secure the Tubing
Use the included:
- Pipe clamps, or
- Ribbons
to secure the tubing in the desired position.
Step 6: Connect to the Water Source
Connect the quick connector to a compatible 3/4" faucet.
Make sure the connection is secure before turning on the water.
Step 7: Adjust the Shower Heads
Position each shower head according to the watering area.
The shower heads can be adjusted individually to direct water where needed.
Important Connection Tip
The tubing and shower head must be inserted fully into the bottom of the three-way socket.
If they are not inserted deeply enough, leakage may occur.
How to Change the Spray Pattern
Rotate the nozzle head to switch between:
Water Column Mode
Produces a more concentrated stream of water.
Spray Mode
Produces a wider spray pattern.
Rotate the nozzle gradually until the desired watering pattern and spray volume are achieved.
Push-Fit Connection
To install tubing:
- Align the tubing with the three-way socket.
- Push the tubing firmly into the connector.
- Make sure it is fully seated.
No heating or special tools are required.
Easy Tube Removal
To remove tubing:
- Press the inner release ring on the three-way socket.
- Keep the ring pressed.
- Pull the tubing outward.
This allows the irrigation layout to be changed or reconfigured more easily.
