A. The current HCS026FRF manual only specifies soil-moisture measurement. It does not list temperature measurement as a supported HCS026FRF function.
Q3. Does the HCS026FRF require a Gateway?
A. Yes. The current manual specifies either HWG023WBRF or HWG040WLBRF. The Gateway is sold separately.

Q5. Can I use the HCS026FRF without the Gateway?
A. The sensor can display a moisture reading on its LCD and supports manual measurement. However, the current manual requires a compatible Gateway for RainPoint Home connection and smart app features.
