Q7. Can the TCS024B work with a Water Timer?

A. The specification and product features describe the temperature measurement as air / ambient temperature. Therefore, it should not be described as soil temperature.

A. The manual specifies 0%–100%. The original specification labels this as 0%RH–100%RH.

Q11. How deep should I insert the sensor?

A. Insert the sensor until the soil reaches the BEST position marked on the probe.

Q12. Can I install it directly into hard soil?

A. The manual recommends making a hole first when the soil is hard. Do not force the sensor into hard soil.

Q13. How do I reset the TCS024B?

A. Either remove the batteries for approximately 10 seconds and reinstall them, or press and hold the button for approximately 5 seconds. A rapidly flashing green LED indicates pairing mode.

Q14. What does a rapidly flashing green LED mean?

A. The device is in pairing mode. The manual describes the flashing rate as approximately 2 times per second.
