General Care Tips
Use clean cold water only
The HCS048B is designed for clean cold water.
Keep the battery cover closed
Firmly reinstall the battery compartment cover to maintain water resistance.
Hand-tighten only
Do not use pliers, wrenches, or other tools to tighten the flow meter.
Check the water-flow direction
Incorrect installation direction may cause inaccurate readings.
Keep connections secure
Check faucet and hose connections periodically for leaks.
Use PTFE tape only when appropriate
If the faucet male thread or sealing surface causes leakage, the manual recommends wrapping PTFE tape clockwise approximately 2–3 turns before reconnecting.
Avoid unnecessary re-pairing
