Cleaning the Inlet Filter
The inlet filter keeps dirt and debris out of the timer to help maintain normal water flow.
To clean the filter:
Turn off the faucet and disconnect the timer.
Remove the inlet filter from the water inlet.
Rinse the filter under clean running water.
Reinstall the filter and make sure it sits flat (horizontal) before use.
Maintenance tip:
Inspect and clean the filter regularly—especially if your water source contains sediment or if you notice reduced flow.
Winter Storage
This timer is not intended for freezing temperatures.
Remove the timer when the temperature drops below 37°F (3°C).
Store it indoors to help prevent freeze damage.
Make sure the timer is completely dry before storing it.
Leaving the timer outdoors in freezing conditions may cause internal damage.
Long-Term Storage
If you won’t be using the timer for an extended period:
Remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Store the timer indoors in a dry place.
