Regular maintenance helps keep your RAINPOINT ITV347 3-Zone Digital Water Timer running smoothly and may extend its overall service life.

Cleaning the Inlet Filter

The inlet filter helps block dirt and debris from entering the timer, which supports steady water flow.

To clean the filter:

Turn off the faucet and detach the timer.
Remove the inlet filter from the water inlet.
Rinse the filter thoroughly under clean running water.
Reinstall the filter and ensure it is seated flat (horizontal) before use.

Maintenance tip:
Check and clean the filter periodically—especially if your water source contains sediment or if you notice a drop in flow.

Winter Storage

This timer is not designed for freezing conditions.

Remove the timer when the temperature falls below 37°F (3°C).
Store it indoors to help prevent freeze damage.
Make sure the unit is completely dry before storage.
Leaving the timer outdoors in freezing temperatures may cause internal damage.

Long-Term Storage

If the timer is not used for a long period:

Remove the batteries to prevent leakage or corrosion.
Store the timer indoors in a dry location.
Keep it away from direct sunlight and high humidity.

After long-term storage, the timer may require reactivation before normal use. Running the manual watering briefly can help re-engage the internal valve.
